Who are these learning resources designed for?
The ‘Downloadable PBS resources’ are designed to be accessible for everyone (people with disability, family members, service providers etc). However, the learning resources within the login section have been developed for existing behaviour support practitioners who are not new to PBS (e.g., are at least developing (‘Core’) practitioners).
It is assumed that behaviour support practitioners using these resources have completed formal PBS training and using these resources does not replace the need for ongoing professional development and supervision.
The online positive behaviour support plan (PBSP) quality assurance tool, which includes the PBSP summary document, is intended to be used by trained and experienced behaviour support practitioners.
